Urban Boatbuilders' Apprenticeship Program employs those ages 16-21 to build boats, cutting boards, develop career building skills, and gain exposure to the trades. Pay starts at $15/hour with opportunity for pay increases as apprentices advance through the cohorts. We are located at the Urban Boatbuilders' Woodshop, right off the Green Line on Raymond.

WHO:

Youth ages 16-21 who are curious about the trades and/or enjoy working with their hands. Note: Age exceptions are considered, depending on circumstances.

 

PAY:

$15/hour with opportunity for pay increases as apprentices advance through the cohorts.

WHEN:

Thursday, September 24th- Wednesday, January 13th

CREW HOURS:

3 hours per day, 3 days per week

-Crew A works from 3:15-6:15 pm Monday through Wednesday. 

-Crew B works from  3:15-6:15 pm Wednesday through Friday.
