The weekend will close with a celebration that's free and open to the public:
Join us for the Mississippi River Community Celebration at Mississippi Crossings in Champlin from noon to 5pm on Sunday, June 9th! Everyone is welcome and there will be a lot going on:
1) There will be live music at the riverside amphitheater provided by Lehto & Wright.
2) Watch all the canoes, kayaks, surf skis and stand up paddleboards paddle past to the finish line just downstream at Mississippi Point Park
3) Check out various river-related organizations that will have booths at the Crossings where you can learn about ways to get involved with protecting the Mississippi River and making it a cleaner, healthier more beautiful place. Our Title Sponsor, 1Mississippi will be there as will many of our other sponsors.
